Easter

We had a very nice Easter this year. Once again, we visited the Easter Bunny at the mall. I don't know how many more times the girls will be interested in doing this. It was difficult to get a nice picture of everyone between the glare on Liam's glasses, Liam's typical fidgety-ness, and just general picture troubles like getting everyone to look at the camera! But here's a few shots from our visit:

On Easter morning, we found a special note from the Easter Bunny! He left the kids a treasure hunt but with a twist--they could only find a certain color eggs, and they each had to put together their clues to find their presents! It was a lot of fun! My only complaint was that the girls were so excited, they were up at 4 am looking for eggs with a flashlight! I had to send them back to bed. I told them no egg hunts until the sun came up!

Dear Emily, Bailey, and Liam,
I think we have had a lot of fun with our Easter treasure hunts, so this year I decided to do something a little different. Emily, you will collect the ORANGE eggs and follow the clues to your goodies! Bailey, you collect PURPLE eggs, and Liam, you collect the BLUE eggs. Once you have all 12 eggs, open them up and put the clues together to figure out where I’ve hidden a gift for you.
 Have fun! Happy Easter
Love,
the Easter Bunny

Here are some pictures from our morning:

After the treasure hunt, we had breakfast and played with our new toys. Then the kids went swimming for a bit before we headed to Mimi and Grandpa's for a delicious ham dinner. It was a perfect day!
