Emily drew a really great picture the other day. It was a person, wearing a hat, surrounded by trees, with two orange animals nearby. So I said, “Emmy, tell me about this picture.”
“That’s Daddy on [s]afari. Those are tigers, and here’s a lot of trees.”
“What’s a safari, Emmy?”
“A [s]afari is when you go far away to look at the ‘aminals.’’’
I thought that was a pretty good definition for a four-year-old!
